Welcome to Boom Boom Bagels, the home of Shanghai's freshest, dopest, most out of this world awesome bagels. We developed our recipe with the help of
China's most respected bageliers (we made up that word) and refined it almost 100 times over to ensure there was no way to possibly make a better bagel.
We source fresh toppings, use great ingredients and make every bagel by hand.
Our bakery bar is located at 39 Anfu Lu (near Changshu Lu) and is open daily from 7:30am - 10:00pm for bagels, coffee, beer and cocktails.
Boom Boom Bagels arrive fresh daily at Sumerian Specialty Coffee in Jing'an. Enjoy carbs and top notch specialty coffee starting at 7:30am.
We start to make every Boom Boom Bagel with clean filtered water, and imported flour. Expert hands knead the dough until it is perfectly soft and a just stretchy enough to loop around the palm and roll into a ring. From there we use a secret technique to slow the natural rising and fermentation of the dough, packing every bite with the most bagely goodness possible. Every morning the bagels are then double boiled with our fine tuned bagel boiling broth, topped with fresh sesame seeds, sea salt, parmesan cheese, or left naked.
